As a Cocktail Server, you will be responsible for efficiently expediting and providing beverage orders while ensuring excellent guest satisfaction. You play a crucial role in maintaining the ambiance and hospitality standards of the lounge by attentively addressing customer needs, managing cleanliness and stock of service areas, and participating in marketing and entertainment events. The starting rate for this position is $8.75 per hour plus tips, reflecting a competitive wage for the service industry and the opportunity for additional earnings through gratuities. This position also involves performing on-stage comedy acts, photo shoots, and other promotional events that enhance the MGM Resorts brand and appeal to a wide variety of guests. You will be entrusted with handling cash transactions accurately and maintaining proper cash handling and comp procedures. Building relationships with guests through developing a personal clientele list is a vital component of the role, contributing to repeat patronage and guest loyalty. Maintaining wardrobe and costumes to the highest standards is expected to align with the venue's professional image. Additionally, you will be trained to identify and resolve guest complaints when appropriate, escalating issues to management or security as necessary to ensure a safe and positive guest experience.
