The position of Janitorial Service Technician is pivotal in upholding the cleanliness and sanitation standards integral to maintaining healthy environments in client buildings and grounds. This role requires a dedicated individual to perform a wide array of cleaning tasks that directly contribute to the overall safety and comfort of customers' facilities. The technician will be responsible for dusting furniture, cleaning both occupied and unoccupied rooms, sanitizing high-touch areas daily, and performing deep cleaning tasks in accordance with CDC guidelines related to infectious disease control. Other responsibilities include maintaining supplies inventory, managing waste collection, and ensuring all cleaning activities comply with company procedures and the use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE). Scheduled to work the evening shift from Monday through Friday, this full-time role offers a competitive pay rate of $16.00 per hour, with potential for advancement within the franchise. Candidates should expect to engage in tasks that include but are not limited to vacuuming with a backpack vacuum, buffing and mopping floors, cleaning hallways, restrooms, and stairwells, and occasionally handling special cleaning requests from clients or management. The ability to work independently, manage time efficiently within budgeted hours, and respond to directives to work overtime are essential aspects of this position. Safety and compliance are key components of the role, requiring the technician to complete any necessary training, pass background and drug screenings as requested, and consistently observe company policies. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are mandatory due to travel requirements between locations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, effective communication, a positive attitude, and a commitment to excellence in service delivery. While previous janitorial experience is preferred, particularly one to two years in a similar environment, the company also values a willingness to learn and adaptability. Bilingual skills are an advantage but not required.
