The Clubhouse Food Runner position at Interlachen Country Club is pivotal to maintaining the seamless flow of food and beverage service within the dining areas. This role is dedicated to enhancing the dining experience by ensuring timely and courteous delivery of meals and beverages, adhering strictly to established etiquette and service guidelines. The Food Runner works collaboratively with the front-of-house team, including servers and managers, to address the specific needs of both members and private party guests. Emphasizing attention to detail, organizational skills, and a positive attitude, the Food Runner will be responsible for understanding daily function sheets, memorizing special menu items, and assisting with setup and cleanup duties. Moreover, the role requires vigilance in identifying potential issues related to alcohol consumption and enforcing club policies, thereby contributing to a safe and enjoyable environment. As a member-facing position, the Food Runner is expected to uphold the club’s standards of professionalism, including wearing a neat and presentable uniform and maintaining a friendly demeanor.
