The Music Hall Cocktail Server role is a part-time position with flexible shifts typically scheduled for nights and weekends. The position offers hourly pay plus tips. A Music Hall Cocktail Server works within a high-volume, fast-paced concert hall environment, using strong interpersonal skills to anticipate and meet guest needs while upselling food and beverage options. This role demands attention to detail, a positive attitude, and excellent teamwork skills to ensure exceptional customer service. It involves circulating throughout the assigned work area to monitor atmosphere and guest satisfaction, adhering strictly to House of Blues safety, health, and sanitation standards, and following established opening and closing procedures. The role also requires responsible alcohol service, including checking identifications for age verification, recognizing signs of intoxication, and following proper cash handling and point of sale protocols. The Music Hall Cocktail Server occasionally assists with special events and interacts with guests in a warm and friendly manner to build repeat business. This role is physically demanding, requiring standing for extended periods and the ability to maneuver trays through large crowds. It suits candidates who are motivated, resourceful, and passionate about live music and hospitality. Previous experience in similar fast-paced venues and knowledge of cocktail service techniques and POS systems is highly beneficial.
