The role we are offering is for a full-time Cleaner position under civil service title, which plays a vital part in our day-to-day operations and long-term maintenance strategy. The Cleaner works under the supervision of the Director of Facilities and the Head Custodian, supporting their efforts by carrying out routine manual cleaning tasks and general care of the building. Scheduled to work from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., this role encompasses a standard 40-hour workweek, reflecting a consistent and stable employment opportunity. This schedule supports efficient operations during core business hours and ensures timely maintenance and cleanliness of the facilities. The responsibilities involve physically demanding tasks such as cleaning various areas, handling cleaning equipment, and using cleaning products properly and safely. This position requires individuals who can perform physical labor, including standing, stooping, bending, stretching, and climbing ladders or scaffolds as necessary. Attention to detail, thoroughness in cleaning duties, dependability, and maintaining good physical condition are key attributes for success in this role. Although no formal educational or prior experience requirements are necessary, candidates must be physically capable and ready to undertake the demands of the job.
