The opportunity being offered is for a dedicated Cleaning Technician role within the company, responsible for performing essential cleaning duties that enhance the sanitation and upkeep of client facilities. The role plays an integral part in ensuring that all areas under the company’s care are maintained in pristine condition, adhering to rigorous cleaning schedules and guidelines. This role involves the meticulous dusting of furniture, including desks, chairs, tables, and high areas such as vents, as well as deep cleaning of rooms in agreement with CDC protocols related to infectious disease prevention. As part of daily operations, the technician will sanitize all touch areas, clean restrooms (which includes physically demanding activities like bending and kneeling), vacuum rugs and fabric furniture with specialized backpack vacuums, and handle trash and infectious waste safely. In addition to routine cleaning, the technician will engage in terminal and detailed weekly cleaning tasks, attend to special requests from clients and management, and maintain inventory by accepting deliveries and replenishing stock. Attention to detail is paramount, as this role requires cleaning glass and mirrors at entry points, managing odor control, mopping and buffing floors, and cleaning stairwells and hallways. The technician will also perform facility security duties such as opening and locking facilities and operating security systems. Working at ServiceMaster Commercial Cleaning by Alliance demands reliability, self-motivation, and the ability to work unsupervised efficiently. Compliance with company policies, mandatory training, and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory to ensure safety and quality standards are continuously met. The candidate must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to arrive promptly at the work location according to scheduled hours and meet any overtime requirements as directed by management.
