The Role: The Security Officer position at Bally's Lincoln Casino Resort involves ensuring the safety and security of guests, employees, and company assets, providing peace of mind in a vibrant, dynamic environment. Officers are strategically positioned at the facility's entrances, overseeing guest flow and ensuring compliance with Rhode Island state law. The position requires monitoring activities via Security Dispatch Center, managing communications and coordinating responses through Surveillance, Fire/EMS, Police, and other relevant departments. Officers also manage the Card and Destruction Room, where daily inspection and logging of gaming cards and dices occur, and the Badging Office, responsible for badge creation and monitoring. The security team supports guest services by offering directions and assistance, patrolling designated areas including parking lots, valet zones, and exterior casino premises. While they do not act as law enforcement, Civilian Officers play a crucial role in observing and reporting conditions that may pose hazards or risks, thereby contributing to an overall safe environment for all. This position is ideal for individuals with a minimum of one year of experience in security or guarding roles, who possess strong customer service skills and the ability to work varying shifts including overnight hours. The role emphasizes physical and mental stamina, including standing and walking for extended periods and operating in diverse environmental conditions such as noisy, smoky, or dusty settings.
