This opportunity is for a Housekeeping Aide, a vital position within the childcare center focused on maintaining cleanliness and organization to create an optimal learning environment for the children. Unlike typical housekeeping roles, this position plays a direct part in supporting educational activities by ensuring classrooms, playgrounds, and communal areas are clean, safe, and welcoming. The Housekeeping Aide completes a variety of janitorial tasks including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, window and restroom cleaning, as well as trash collection. Additionally, the aide helps maintain school equipment, furniture, and facilities ensuring everything is in excellent condition for daily activities. A seasonal element is also involved as the aide assists with putting up and removing decorations that enrich the learning environment through festive appeal. This role requires a willingness to work cooperatively within a team dedicated to child safety, cleanliness, and educational support.
