The role available at Fontainebleau Miami Beach is a full-time Chef de Cuisine position, reporting directly to the Executive Director of Culinary. This pivotal role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day management of the culinary department, ensuring that all food outlets maintain exceptional quality and high standards. The Chef de Cuisine will take charge of designing and implementing menus tailored for specific outlets within the hotel. This includes providing detailed recipes, training culinary staff, and ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene standards, particularly following the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines. A key aspect of the role involves fostering strong customer relations, especially when interacting with guests in public areas, and collaborating with other departments to coordinate menu plans and banquets. The position demands effective scheduling and deployment of kitchen staff to optimize operational efficiency, as well as enforcing compliance with company policies and culinary procedures. The Chef de Cuisine will also engage in hiring, coaching, and building positive working relationships within the team, contributing to a motivated and productive workplace. This role requires an experienced culinary professional capable of combining creativity, leadership, and thorough knowledge of kitchen operations to uphold the renowned standards of Fontainebleau Miami Beach and elevate the guest dining experience consistently.
                - High school education or equivalent
 - Culinary or apprenticeship program required
 - Relevant experience in a high quality, high volume, and multi-unit operations preferred
 - 7-8 years experience as a Chef de Cuisine preferred
