We are currently inviting applications for the role of Chef D’Cuisine, a pivotal leadership position within our culinary team. The Chef D’Cuisine is entrusted with overseeing all culinary activities, managing kitchen staff, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety. This role is central to enhancing the dining aspect of the entertainment experience offered to guests, ensuring each meal is both flavorful and visually appealing while aligning with operational efficiency and budgetary goals. As the culinary leader, the Chef D’Cuisine develops and manages budgets and food costs, supervises training for kitchen personnel on safe and effective food preparation procedures, and creatively directs the menu offerings. Additionally, this role includes responsibilities such as maintenance scheduling for kitchen equipment, staff development including interviewing and performance management, and ensuring compliance with health regulations and safety standards. The ideal candidate will bring at least three to five years of experience in kitchen or restaurant supervision or as a sous chef, possess a four-year degree or equivalent work experience, and have the ability to maintain any necessary licensure required by gaming control authorities.   • Education of a four-year degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • three to five years’ experience as a kitchen or restaurant supervisor and/or sous chef
  • exposure to alcohol and smoking environment and ability to work in such environment
  • ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or applicable regulatory entity
  • ability to stand for long periods without sitting or leaning
  • ability to handle multi-tasking heavy work exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
  • ability to walk continually throughout scheduled shift
  • ability to bend, stoop and reach oven, hotel pans, trays weighing up to 50 pounds
