The Cheese and Bread Lead position at Healthy Living is a pivotal role within the company’s cheese and bread department, a section celebrated for its carefully curated products and knowledgeable staff. As the Cheese and Bread Lead, you will be entrusted with overseeing daily operations behind the scenes while ensuring the department runs efficiently and meets the highest standards in product quality and customer satisfaction. This full-time role requires a flexible schedule including weekend availability, with a competitive pay range of $20 to $21.72 per hour. In this capacity, you will manage inventory and ordering, collaborating closely with vendors to maintain stock levels that align with both customer demand and budget constraints. Utilizing tools such as the Healthy Living software, auto-order systems, and reporting tools, you will monitor inventory accuracy, conduct cycle counts, and oversee shrink reporting weekly. Your leadership will also extend to training and mentoring team members to ensure they are confident and knowledgeable about department procedures, standards, and protocols. Maintaining an organized, clean, and welcoming department environment that adheres to food safety practices will also be part of your daily responsibilities. Your expertise in cheese cutting, wrapping, weighing, and labeling will contribute to providing high-quality products that meet customer expectations.
