The role available at Regency Senior Living is a kitchen and food service position responsible for overseeing the preparation and serving of food to residents in the dining room. This role is integral to ensuring residents receive nutritious and appetizing meals served in a timely and professional manner. The food service associate will work under the supervision of a designated supervisor and will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities related to food preparation, kitchen cleanliness, and dining room service. The position requires a person with a passion for culinary arts, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team dedicated to senior care. The ideal candidate will have experience in culinary arts or food service, preferably with experience working in environments that serve older adults.   • High school diploma or equivalent certificate
  • Degree in culinary arts or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience cooking in a kitchen
  • Ability to work with older adults preferred
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop and lift 15 to 20 pounds using proper body mechanics
  • Sufficient hearing and visual abilities to comprehend written or verbal communication
  • Maintain grooming standards and wear provided uniform
