This particular role is based at Takeda's BioLife Plasma Donation Center located in San Marcos, California. The position is full-time and non-exempt, offering an hourly starting wage of $19.00, with compensation aligned to state and local minimum wage requirements. The job entails working as a receptionist at the plasma donation center. The role is crucial in supporting the daily operations of the center and involves serving as the first point of contact for donors. The receptionist will greet new and returning donors, handle appointment scheduling, maintain donor records, and provide excellent customer service to both external donors and internal team members. The position requires standing and walking for the entire work shift, performing light to moderate lifting and physical movements such as bending, stooping, and reaching. A strong emphasis is placed on maintaining a safe and clean work environment, as some tasks include handling records in compliance with health regulations and wearing protective gloves due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens. This role is ideal for individuals who have at least one year of experience in a customer or patient-facing setting and possess excellent communication skills.
