As a Catering Sales Manager at Graduate by Hilton Eugene, you will play an essential role in driving the sales efforts for catering services within the hotel. Your primary responsibility will be to implement the hotel’s brand strategy while engaging potential and current clients through outstanding service that builds customer loyalty and grows the hotel's market share. You will proactively seek new business by identifying and soliciting new accounts through various methods such as telemarketing, site tours, cold calls, and direct client engagements. This role requires strong negotiation skills to secure contracts involving food and beverage, event space, room rates, and associated services, ensuring all deals contribute positively toward the hotel's revenue goals. A successful candidate will be adept at advising clients about the hotel’s offerings, including spaces and services, and will be the go-to person for client interactions throughout the sales process. You will also maintain close monitoring of competitors to keep the hotel strategically positioned in the marketplace, prepare and submit regular sales and activity reports, and collaborate in business and marketing planning with the broader management team. This position demands a flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
