Sales associates will affirm customer purchases while suggesting complementary products to meet and exceed customer needs. They will also keep customers informed about current promotions, in-store events, and workshops that add value to the customer’s shopping experience. Maintaining visual standards and ensuring the cash wrap area is well supplied and orderly are also critical aspects of this role. Williams-Sonoma associates are expected to maximize available resources to resolve issues effectively and provide superior support. The company fosters an inclusive environment where all team members are treated fairly in alignment with their People-First Philosophy. The role demands an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to think creatively to exceed sales goals while building lasting customer relationships. Employees must be capable of working both in team settings and independently, managing their responsibilities efficiently. This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $16.66 to $17.66, based on factors such as education and experience. Benefits include generous employee discounts across all Williams-Sonoma brands, 401(k) plans, wellness programs supporting holistic health, paid vacations and holidays for full-time staff, and health, dental, and vision insurance coverage including benefits for same-sex domestic partners. The company places a strong emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion, believing these values drive innovation and superior customer service.
