The available role is for a seasoned Line Cook, an integral member of our culinary operations team. This position is full-time with an attractive starting wage ranging from $19 to $20 per hour depending on experience. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of five years of hands-on experience as a Line Cook, preferably within a hotel, resort, or restaurant setting. In this role, you will be entrusted with preparing all menu items according to established recipes and yield guides, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation. You will also be responsible for directing, training, and monitoring the performance of other Line Cooks, fostering a productive and efficient kitchen atmosphere.
The role requires a high degree of organization and attention to cleanliness and sanitation, as maintaining a safe and hygienic work environment is paramount. Your duties will include assigning and preparing production and prep work, managing priorities during shifts, and communicating any changes or updates to your team promptly. Setting up and breaking down your workstation with all necessary tools and supplies before and after shifts is vital to ensuring smooth kitchen operations. Additionally, you will coordinate with the Food & Beverage Supervisor to make certain that all required supplies for daily tasks are adequately requisitioned. The position demands flexibility as shifts may vary, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
