Key responsibilities include ensuring guest safety through vigilant monitoring and removing potential hazards, preventing and resolving conflicts, guiding guests and staff in emergency situations, and maintaining clear communication internally. The job also entails enforcing venue policies concerning alcohol serving, identification checks, and prohibiting harmful items from entering the venue. The ability to manage crowd control effectively, perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds safely, and maintain cleanliness around the venue before, during, and after events are essential aspects of the role. Working hours are primarily during late hours in a lively, often loud environment where quick thinking and calm demeanor are necessary. This position also requires flexibility to work diverse schedules, including special events which are frequently held at the venues. Candidates must possess certain certifications such as the CA Guard Card and Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification, reflecting the professional standards expected in this role. The compensation for this position ranges from $17.25 to $20.00 per hour, dependent on location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
