We are currently seeking friendly, organized, and customer service-focused Hosts and Hostesses for Esplanade Lake Club in Fort Myers, FL. Hosts and Hostesses at Esplanade Lake Club are vital to ensuring guests experience welcoming, efficient, and attentive service from the moment they enter the restaurant.
Ideal candidates will be energetic, possess strong communication skills, and be able to adapt to the fast-paced environment of a high-end club dining facility. Though previous experience is preferred, it is not mandatory; candidates new to the hospitality industry are welcome to apply. Flexibility is essential as the position requires weekend and holiday availability to meet demand during peak seasons such as golf events and holidays. Troon prioritizes safety and has implemented strict protocols to maintain a secure environment for both staff and patrons. As a Host/Hostess, your responsibilities will include greeting guests warmly, managing reservations and guest seating with accuracy, coordinating service station duties, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service readiness in the dining room. You will also ensure proper table settings, assist with side work, communicate effectively with both guests and staff, and contribute to a positive dining atmosphere. This role requires standing for extended periods, occasionally lifting up to 10 pounds, and handling a variety of physical tasks such as reaching, stooping, and balancing.
