The Campus Executive Chef (CEC) position within ISS represents a critical leadership role responsible for maintaining and elevating the culinary standards across a multi-unit account in compliance with ISS, GEI, and client-specific guidelines. This full-time role offers an annual salary range of $110,000 to $123,000, dependent upon experience and skills. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with account leadership to ensure that all culinary practices, policies, and SOPs are adhered to, supporting high-quality food production and service in accordance with approved standards.
As the culinary leader on the campus, the CEC will drive excellence in hiring and training culinary staff, supervision of food safety protocols, budgeting, menu programming, procurement compliance, and new unit startups. The role demands comprehensive knowledge and application of NetMenu systems, procurement purchasing guidelines, and maintaining compliance with the Procurement Integrity Index (PII) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI). The CEC will also actively engage in culinary leadership meetings to align and implement company-wide initiatives. Food and workplace safety are paramount in this position, with strict adherence to HACCP, NSF, Allergen Control Plan, and safety policies required daily.
Beyond technical expertise, the ideal candidate will demonstrate robust interpersonal and communication skills, stress tolerance, integrity, and a strong commitment to diversity awareness and customer focus. The position requires a passionate, dependable leader who can remain calm under pressure and foster a positive, inclusive working environment. Physical demands include standing for up to eight hours a day and the ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds. The CEC must comply with ISS's Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) policies to maintain a safe, environmentally responsible, and compliant workplace.
