We are currently seeking an Executive Chef who is passionate about scratch cooking and dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role involves leading a talented culinary team and driving our innovative chef-inspired Signature Dining Programs that elevate the standard of senior living dining. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in hospitality, multi-unit operations, and financial acumen. Proven expertise in team development, food quality, and presentation is essential. As part of this position, the Executive Chef will oversee food purchasing, preparation, presentation, and storage, ensuring all processes remain within budget. The chef will also supervise food production and utility staff to guarantee efficiency and uphold the highest quality standards.
This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the core menus, managing recipe systems, and ensuring that back-of-house computer systems function optimally. A core responsibility also includes maintaining kitchen and equipment sanitation, performing monthly internal audits, and strictly complying with all local and federal food safety regulations such as Health Department standards and HACCP principles. The Executive Chef will collaborate closely with the Unit Manager to address and promptly resolve any food service issues to ensure overall resident satisfaction.
Furthermore, the role emphasizes relationship building by engaging with residents via dining room visits and meetings, fostering a personalized approach to dining experiences. The position offers a competitive salary starting at $94,000 annually, with eligibility for an annual bonus, reflecting the importance of this role within Eagle's Trace.
