As a Line Cook at Caffè Macs, you will be responsible for the daily preparation and cooking of food items across various stations including pantry, fry, and other kitchen areas. This role is crucial in ensuring that all food items are prepared according to strict recipes, portion control guidelines, and presentation specifications. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the Chef, Sous Chef, or Kitchen Manager, gaining valuable experience in a high-volume and innovative corporate food service setting. • 1.5 years of corporate kitchen line cook experience required
• ability to be exposed to cold, heat and water
• able to lift up to 50 pounds
• have an approved food handler's card and non-slip shoes prior to first day of work
• understanding and ability to follow safety, sanitation and food handling procedures
• ability to comprehend, read, and communicate in English
• 1-4 years of experience in customer service or high-volume food service
• basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills
