The Dispatcher role at Caesars Entertainment is critical in delivering seamless transportation services integral to guest satisfaction. This position is based within the Hotel Transportation and Casino Services Department and involves efficiently coordinating and dispatching chauffeurs and service vehicles to meet host and guest requests. Dispatchers are responsible for relaying work orders, messages, and information between chauffeurs, Hosts, Butlers, VIP Services, and Sales teams while maintaining a high standard of courtesy and professionalism.
This role requires adherence to all departmental, property, and corporate policies and procedures, ensuring smooth operations and an exceptional guest transportation experience. The Dispatcher will manage communication channels including phone calls, emails, text messages, 2-way radios, and cellular communication. They will keep track of flights to guarantee chauffeurs arrive on-site for airport pickups punctually, monitor ride boards, and dispatch vehicles at appropriate times. The position demands multitasking in a fast-paced environment, responding efficiently to guest and host needs, coordinating with various departments to ensure relevant information is shared, and assisting chauffeurs with requests while en route.
The ideal candidate has previous experience in dispatching within a high-paced environment or luxury hotel setting, possesses strong computer skills particularly with Windows-based systems, and demonstrates excellent communication abilities. This role also requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends and the ability to operate under time constraints while handling sensitive situations professionally. Physical demands include the capability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds, work in environments with exposure to secondhand smoke, and perform various physical activities such as bending, crouching, kneeling, and twisting while managing desk or counter tasks.
