This full-time, non-exempt Food and Beverage Manager position offers a competitive salary ranging from $23.00 to $25.00 per hour. The role is pivotal in managing and coordinating all food and beverage activities at the club, ensuring the delivery of quality products and adherence to established operational standards. The manager will effectively lead a dedicated team, driving service excellence and maintaining continuous communication across departments.
Primary responsibilities include compliance with national programs such as the Core Beverage Program, Menu Program, Approved Product List, and Beverage Cart Program. The manager will lead staff to ensure quality service is consistently delivered and will monitor that all tasks are completed on time and meet the club’s rigorous standards. This role requires ensuring that staff receive proper safety and job skills training through various methods including group sessions, on-the-job training, and meetings.
In addition to operational oversight, the Food and Beverage Manager will assist in the selection, development, leadership, and retention of talented food and beverage staff. Financial oversight is also critical, with responsibilities encompassing meeting financial targets and consistent adherence to accounting procedures. The manager will foster excellent guest service standards and maintain open, constant communication with other departments to keep everyone informed about special programs and events.
The position demands flexibility, as working nights, weekends, and holidays is often required. During shoulder seasons, the manager may also support key positions as needed. The role offers a diverse working environment within various restaurant types including bar, casual dining, and fine dining settings. Shifts may vary between 8 to 10 hours, covering both day and night periods.
