The position available at MGM Resorts International is for a Bus Person at LPM in The Cosmopolitan, a sophisticated and well-respected dining establishment within The Cosmopolitan hotel. This role is crucial in maintaining the cleanliness and overall readiness of the restaurant, ensuring that every guest experiences impeccable service from start to finish. The employment type is hourly, with a starting wage of $14.9217 plus tips, providing a competitive compensation package for candidates. 
The Bus Person's primary responsibility includes maintaining the dining room, storerooms, food pick-up area, and beverage station according to strict cleanliness and stock standards. This role involves working closely with servers to facilitate smooth and efficient guest service. Key duties include polishing flatware, setting up tables with the appropriate silverware, glassware, linen, condiments, and accessories, and ensuring the proper folding of napkins. They are also tasked with cleaning ashtrays in designated smoking areas and performing thorough cleaning of booth and chair cushions as well as tables. Resetting tables with fresh linens, votive candles, and additional tabletop items are part of the daily tasks.
The Bus Person is responsible for removing dirty dishes, debris, and linens from tables and transporting them to the kitchen for washing. This involves disposing of trash in designated receptacles, coordinating table availability, and maintaining continuous communication with servers, hostesses, and management to ensure tables are efficiently turned over to accommodate new guests. Additional responsibilities include serving water, coffee, and soft drinks and ensuring dining room floors remain clean and free of debris at all times.
Ideal candidates should bring one or more years of relevant experience as a Busser or Food Runner.
