The role being offered is a 3rd shift position, running from 6:00 pm to 6:30 am, within the blending operations department at Steuben Foods. The position requires a detail-oriented and skilled individual who will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and operation of blending processes that meet stringent food safety and quality standards. This role is essential for ensuring that all blending activities and cleaning-in-place (CIP) procedures are conducted efficiently and accurately. Employees will work closely with supervisors and lead personnel to follow established standard operating procedures (SOPs), carry out thorough documentation, and maintain a clean and sanitary work environment. Key responsibilities for this role include performing physical tasks such as lifting up to 55 pounds repeatedly, demonstrating mechanical aptitude, and operating forklifts (with certification). The blending operator is expected to have strong math skills and proficiency with calculators to record and verify blend measurements accurately. Familiarity with CIP procedures and knowledge of plant good manufacturing practices (GMPs), sanitation, and safety protocols are critical for success in this role. The operator will also be responsible for sampling and receiving bulk fluid deliveries, adhering to blend sheet instructions, and reporting any abnormalities that could affect product safety and quality. This job offers a competitive pay range of $24.75 to $25.75 per hour, along with comprehensive benefits that include medical, dental, vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, a 401K plan with employer match, pension, disability and life insurance, paid time off, monthly bonuses, and complimentary meals twice a week.
