Daily bar setup, restocking supplies such as ice, beer, hand soap, and cleaning chemicals, and ensuring the bar is well-prepared before, during, and after shifts fall under the bartender’s responsibilities. Effective communication skills are essential, as the role requires listening and responding clearly to guest inquiries, providing information about hotel services, local attractions, and other guest-related topics to enhance the overall guest experience. Physically, the role requires stamina and dexterity, as bartenders are on their feet for long periods, performing tasks that involve bending, crouching, and handling up to 25 pounds regularly. The work environment is typically indoor with moderate to loud noise levels and occasional exposure to confined spaces, vibrations, and secondhand smoke. • Must be at least 21 years old
• Must have previous bartending experience or equivalent education, training, or experience
• Must possess Alcohol Awareness Card certification
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Must be able to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, reaching overhead, bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting up to 25 lbs
• Must be able to operate bar equipment such as glassware washing machine and ice machines
