The role of Casino Porter at Arizona Charlie's Boulder is an essential position responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas to ensure an attractive, comfortable, and safe experience for guests. This role contributes directly to the overall guest satisfaction by performing a wide variety of cleaning tasks that keep the casino floor and public areas in pristine condition. The Casino Porter will be engaged in sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, emptying trash, and addressing biohazardous material in compliance with all company policies and regulatory safety standards. This job requires an individual who is detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and respects confidential guest information. As a Casino Porter, the individual will be responsible for both routine cleaning duties and responding promptly and courteously to guest requests and complaints, acting as an integral part of the guest services team. Employees will adhere strictly to safety procedures, especially concerning the handling of biohazardous materials and chemical products, ensuring OSHA compliance. The work environment includes exposure to cigarette smoke, loud noises, and cleaning chemicals, requiring the employee to be resilient and safety-conscious. This full-time position demands physical endurance, including significant walking, standing, bending, and the ability to maneuver heavy loads up to 80 pounds regularly. Operating cleaning tools and equipment with dexterity and working effectively at heights up to nine feet are also part of the daily responsibilities. The role requires excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, and the ability to comprehend chemical safety data sheets. • must be at least 21 years of age
• functional in English both verbal and written pertaining to job
• three months minimum related experience and or training
• or equivalent combination of education and experience
• knowledge of proper chemical handling
• regularly required to work with cleaning products, chemicals and solvents using safety equipment provided by the company, and read Material Safety Data Sheets written in English
• regularly required to work with electrical equipment
• able to tolerate a fast paced environment where the employee is regularly exposed to cigarette smoke, loud noise, chemicals and solvents
• walk, stand, bend, reach, stoop or kneel at least 75 percent of time
• push, pull and maneuver loads up to 80 pounds at least 75 percent of time
• work inside in a noisy, smoky, and hot or cold environment
