The role of Retail Bootfitter 2 at Mt. Bachelor Sports Pro Shop is vital to the guest experience, requiring a blend of advanced technical bootfitting knowledge, personalized customer service, and leadership capabilities. This position involves conducting professional boot fittings using thorough understanding of foot anatomy, biomechanics, and the latest ski and snowboard boot technology to ensure guests receive the best-fitting equipment tailored to their individual needs. The Retail Bootfitter 2 not only performs complex boot modifications and repairs but also leads training workshops, supports junior bootfitters, and maintains high service and quality standards. This role demands in-depth product knowledge, skills in customizing and adjusting boots, and the ability to engage guests by offering clear explanations, fit recommendations, and accessory sales support. Moreover, the position requires collaborative communication with retail floor staff, tuning shop, and rental departments to provide seamless service.   • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Prior sales experience preferred
  • Previous ski or mountain bike industry experience preferred
  • Ability to stand for full shifts
  • Physical ability to bend, reach, climb, lift up to 25 pounds, push, pull, and stand for prolonged periods
  • Ability to ski or snowboard at intermediate level
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and peak seasons
  • Advanced bootfitting certification
  • Ability to maintain equipment cleanliness and safety protocols
