The UHealth Department of Concierge Administration currently has an exciting full-time opportunity for a Concierge Coordinator to work at the UHealth Concierge Medicine location in Palm Beach. This role is pivotal in ensuring exceptional service coordination for international or VIP patients seeking medical care within the University of Miami Health System. The Concierge Coordinator acts as a liaison among referral sources, hospitals, and physicians, streamlining the medical services process to meet the unique healthcare needs of these patients. Responsibilities include coordinating the full cycle of medical services, gathering essential data from patients, physicians, and payers, and organizing logistics such as transportation and lodging. The coordinator also manages appointments, patient registration, and insurance verification while negotiating pricing and agreements for self-pay patients. This role involves proactive follow-up on payments, troubleshooting issues independently, and serving as an after-hours contact on a rotating basis. Beyond these core tasks, the Concierge Coordinator supports the onboarding of new UHealth Concierge members by facilitating meet and greet sessions with physicians and managing membership agreements and payments. The role also requires close communication with Concierge members regarding appointment details, scheduling, and coordination of additional tests and referrals. The coordinator documents all patient interactions meticulously to ensure continuity of care and works cooperatively with clinical departments and leadership to enhance operational workflow and resolve challenges. Confidentiality and compliance with regulatory guidelines such as HIPAA are paramount, given the sensitive nature of patient information handled. Adaptability, professionalism under pressure, and willingness to travel or float between sites as necessary are key to success in this dynamic and rewarding role.
