The role of Ground Service Agent with United Ground Express is a multi-faceted position requiring dedication and adaptability. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting passengers, facilitating check-in and ticketing processes, and utilizing reservation and ticketing software to manage itineraries, issue boarding passes, and collect fees as necessary. A key part of the job includes working closely with passengers, actively listening and addressing concerns especially in situations involving flight interruptions or delays. Agents may also assist in baggage service offices by tracking lost or delayed baggage, answering passenger queries, and ensuring all information is processed accurately and efficiently to support on-time flight operations.
