The Bar Staff position at The Cascade Club plays a crucial role in the daily operations of the beverage department, reporting directly to the Beverage Manager and Dining Operations Manager. This role requires an intermediate knowledge of a wide range of beverages, including wines, beers, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks, along with a demonstrated ability to prepare cocktails using various methods such as straight up, shaken, stirred, or neat. The staff member is responsible for preparing and serving drinks promptly, assisting with beverage services during events or regular service, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar and beverage storage areas. Responsibilities also include stocking liquor, wine, beer, and mixers, monitoring equipment, completing daily sales entries, and providing courteous and personalized service to members and guests. The job requires teamwork, adherence to sanitation protocols, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Physical requirements include standing for extended periods and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
