Beyond drink preparation, the Bartender is responsible for maintaining the bar area in full compliance with both resort and health department standards, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and adequate stocking at all times. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in classic cocktails, wines, spirits, and beers, complemented by a professional demeanor and excellent communication skills. This role demands attention to detail, especially in following strict drink recipes and proper measuring techniques using a jigger to guarantee consistency. In addition to serving guests efficiently and courteously, the Bartender at Terranea is expected to participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving menu offerings and service standards. The position offers a base pay starting at $16.50 per hour plus tips, recognizing the value of skill and dedication in creating memorable guest interactions. Key responsibilities include preparing garnishes, managing inventory, operating draft beer systems, and efficiently handling payment transactions through the MICROS system. The Bartender will collaborate closely with kitchen and supervisory staff, communicating effectively regarding menu inquiries, wait times, and product availability. • High School Diploma or GED
• Must be RBS certified or become certified within 30 days of hire
• Must have a current Food Handlers card
