The Barista role at Parkhurst Dining is central to delivering excellent customer service and quality beverages. The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving specialty coffee drinks following Parkhurst's exact recipes while maintaining strict sanitary conditions in the workspace. This role requires not only brewing coffee but also engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring that each visitor receives a warm and welcoming experience. Responsibilities include handling cash transactions properly, stocking grab-and-go items, maintaining coffee supplies, and keeping the service area clean and visually appealing with appropriate signage. Communication with management is important to keep track of inventory and maintain smooth operations. Adherence to company dress codes and hospitality standards is a must, embodying the Smile Plus hospitality imperatives.
