The Barista / Apps position at Din Tai Fung offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team in this esteemed culinary establishment. This role is focused on a back-of-house kitchen environment where the employee will be responsible for three key stations: the Boba station, where all drinks are skillfully prepared; the Side Station, where appetizers are plated with care and attention to detail; and the Packing station, which involves managing the packaging of takeout orders in compliance with Din Tai Fung’s established recipes and standard operating procedures (SOPs). This multi-faceted position requires a versatile, energetic individual who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting and is motivated by providing exceptional quality and service. Responsibilities include vocal execution of beverage crafting, precise presentation of appetizers, efficient packing techniques, routine cleaning and maintenance of all three stations, conducting regular inventory checks, and restocking supplies to ensure smooth operational flow. This role demands physical stamina as it requires standing for extended periods and involves maintaining a positive, professional attitude that aligns with the company’s values.
