This position is located at the Troy Hospital Starbucks department and is a part-time role with evening shifts from 11:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., including work every other weekend. The role primarily involves the production of intricate beverage recipes in a fast-paced and high-volume environment, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction at all times. As a beverage specialist at Corewell Health’s Starbucks location, the individual will be responsible for following standardized recipes that require knowledge of complex ingredient combinations and precise measurements. The role demands the ability to multitask across various responsibilities such as recipe preparation, cash handling, stocking, sanitation, and equipment maintenance. Key responsibilities include maintaining high safety and sanitation standards, troubleshooting and cleaning specialized kitchen equipment, and preparing for health department and regulatory inspections. The role places strong emphasis on customer service excellence, requiring team members to create personalized experiences, respond accurately to specific customer requests, and perform service recovery when products do not meet expectations. Candidates should possess basic math and computer skills, effective communication abilities in English, and ideally have prior food service and cash handling experience.
