Barista II - Full-time

The University of North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston is currently seeking a full-time Barista II to join their team. This role offers an hourly wage ranging from $7.25 to $23.44, working varying shifts with open availability preferred. As a Barista II at Sodexo, you will play a crucial role in delivering handcrafted, high-quality beverages and food items to customers, consistently contributing to a positive customer experience. Beyond just preparing coffee, tea, and other specialty drinks like espresso, cappuccino, café latte, chai, and fruit blend beverages, the Barista II also manages point-of-sale transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. This role requires more than technical skill—it demands a passion for customer service and the ability to create a welcoming environment that leaves customers smiling. Responsibilities include greeting customers, taking orders, cleaning and maintaining coffee and food preparation areas, and other duties as assigned depending on business needs. Prior experience in customer service, food preparation, sanitation, and inventory control is preferred, and some locations may require Starbucks Barista certification. • High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in customer service or food service preferred
• Ability to work flexible shifts including days and hours with open availability preferred
