The role offered is for a full-time Barista to join the vibrant team at Reckon, one of Hotel Forty Five's key dining experiences. This position requires someone with open availability to cover morning shifts scheduled from 6:30 am to 11:30 am and from 11:30 am to 4:00 pm. The Barista’s primary responsibility is to craft and serve a variety of high-quality coffee and specialty beverages, ensuring that each guest receives personalized, attentive service. The role demands a high degree of knowledge about coffee preparations and beverage artistry, coupled with a friendly and engaging demeanor that makes every guest feel valued. In addition to beverage preparation, the Barista will maintain cleanliness and order in the workspace, manage inventory levels, and adhere to food safety and sanitation standards. This is a dynamic position that requires multitasking and the ability to flourish in a fast-paced environment. The Barista will also support broader Food and Beverage operations as needed, contributing to a seamless and memorable guest experience. Physical demands include the ability to stand or sit for extended periods, bend, lift and pull up to 50 pounds, and communicate effectively.   • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior experience as a barista, café attendant, or in a guest-facing food and beverage role preferred
  • Strong knowledge of coffee, espresso, and specialty beverage preparation is a plus
  • Prior experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills with a positive, approachable attitude

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to beverage quality and presentation
  • Cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) system experience preferred
