We are currently hiring for full-time and part-time Barista positions at the Delray Medical Center located at 5352 Linton Boulevard, Delray Beach, FL 33484. Online applications are accepted only. This position offers schedules between 6:30 am and 6:30 pm, with specific details provided during the interview process. The pay rate for this position is $16.00 per hour. As a Barista at Morrison Healthcare, you will make and serve coffee, espresso drinks, and related food and beverage items while handling food according to HACCP guidelines and quality food-service standards. The role requires interacting with customers and team members in a friendly, courteous manner to ensure a positive customer experience. You will prepare espresso orders using standardized measures and recipes, operate POS devices accurately for order entry and payment processing, and maintain cleanliness and stocking of condiments, beverages, and supplies in the service area. Presentation, portion control, and proper serving temperatures must be maintained, following HACCP standards. The role also includes sanitation and orderliness of equipment and utensils, proper food preparation using approved recipes, and keeping display equipment clean during meal services. Customer service is a key component, requiring quick, efficient service, effective communication about menu items, and active selling techniques by establishing good customer rapport.
