The role of Barista at Full House Resorts is a vital position within the café and quick-service restaurant (QSR) departments. This job involves preparing and serving authentic coffees, espressos, and other café drinks in line with established guidelines to deliver a premium guest experience. In addition to beverage preparation, the Barista is responsible for serving and warming breads, pastries, and other quick-serve food items, ensuring quality and freshness. Providing exceptional customer service is a core aspect of this role, requiring the barista to share detailed product knowledge about coffee blends, preparation methods, taste profiles, and ingredients. The position also entails setting up and maintaining clean and visually appealing service stations with proper allergen management, following First in First Out (FIFO) inventory standards to guarantee product freshness. The Barista must also manage coffee bean preparation, from weighing and grinding to packaging according to guest specifications, working across various quick-service counters to support bakery and café operations. Proficiency in operating cash registers and Point of Sale (POS) systems is required, along with ensuring accuracy in cash handling and bill authentication. The role demands maintaining composure during high-volume periods and exhibiting flexibility with open and adaptable availability. Communication with management and other departments, such as the Pastry division, is critical to coordinate sales, inventory, and orders effectively.
