This position is essential for maintaining the quality and taste that our community expects, contributing to a vibrant campus culture where students, faculty, and staff can enjoy exceptional meals. Candidates will work Monday through Friday with variations in hours that may include nights and weekends. This schedule flexibility is vital to support the day-to-day needs of the campus dining services efficiently. As a cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items according to standardized recipes, ensuring portion control, attractive presentation, and correct serving temperatures. You will play a critical role in both food preparation and clean-up, maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards, and ensuring kitchen areas and storage facilities are kept orderly and compliant with health regulations. Your responsibilities also extend to equipment operation and maintenance, inventory assistance, and adherence to safety policies including the use of protective gloves and slip-resistant footwear. • At least 1 year of culinary experience
