Barback - Full-time

The Barback plays an integral role within the bar team, responsible for supporting bartenders by maintaining stocked and clean bar areas, ensuring the availability of all necessary supplies, and assisting with the preparation and upkeep of bar equipment and garnishments. This full-time position requires an individual who can efficiently manage back-of-house responsibilities while providing friendly and courteous service to every guest. The Barback will prepare bar recipes according to brand specifications, handle the rotation of frozen mugs, maintain cleanliness of specialized bar tools such as balones and chill sticks, and ensure that all glassware and bar surfaces remain spotless at all times. Additionally, the Barback is tasked with inventory management duties including ordering stock for wine, champagne, beer, liquor, and perishables at the start of each shift. Receiving and stocking deliveries accurately, organizing storage areas, and maintaining proper cleaning and sanitization of equipment and surfaces are daily responsibilities. The role demands attention to detail for tasks like cutting fruit to specification and replenishing condiment stations to support smooth cocktail service. Barbacks also handle waste removal and laundering of bar towels, keeping the entire workspace efficient and hygienic.
