The Barback position at Emerald Queen Hotel & Casinos is a crucial role within the bar and beverage department, supporting bartenders and enhancing the overall guest experience. This full-time role starts at $16.28 per hour plus tips, with an increase to $16.81 per hour plus tips upon successful completion of a 90-day orientation period. Applicants must hold a high school diploma or GED equivalent, with bartending school considered a preferred qualification. The role requires the ability to work all scheduled shifts including days, swings, graveyards, and holidays, and candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen. A Class IIIB gaming license, facilitated by the employer, is also required due to the regulatory standards of the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and Washington State Gaming Commission.
