We are currently seeking a dedicated and energetic Bar-Back to join our team. This is an essential supporting role designed to assist our bartenders throughout their shifts by ensuring that the bar area remains fully stocked, clean, and operational. The Bar-Back will work closely with bartenders to anticipate their needs and maintain a seamless flow behind the bar. This position offers an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience in the hospitality field and acts as a gateway for advancement. Many of our bartenders have started their careers as Bar-Backs, proving this role to be an ideal stepping stone for those seeking professional growth within the bar and restaurant industry.
The daily responsibilities for this position revolve around maintaining cleanliness, managing stock levels of liquor, garnishes, and supplies, as well as supporting the bartenders with various tasks during service hours. The Bar-Back will also be responsible for waste management duties such as emptying trash receptacles and managing ice well refills to ensure everything runs efficiently. A safe working environment will be upheld by handling drink spills promptly and carefully dealing with any broken glassware to prevent accidents. Adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team are critical attributes for success in this role.
