We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The Kitchen Supervisor will play a critical role in directing, coordinating, and evaluating the activities within the kitchen and food production areas. This position demands a leader who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and passionate about food quality, customer service, and operational efficiency. In this role, you will oversee kitchen staff such as cooks and food-service associates, ensuring adherence to food handling, sanitation, and safety standards. You will be responsible for supervising hourly kitchen associates including conducting interviews, scheduling shifts, managing payroll, providing training, counseling employees, participating in performance reviews, and recommending disciplinary actions as necessary. Elevating food preparation standards is key, and you will efficiently prepare high-quality food items following standardized recipes, ensuring meals are served on time while maintaining proper presentation, portion control, and food temperatures. In addition to directing food preparation, the Kitchen Supervisor will manage inventory, track food usage and waste, and handle the receiving and inspection of products to confirm quality and quantity. Maintaining sanitation of the workspace and kitchen equipment is a priority to meet internal and regulatory cleanliness standards.
