Morada Senior Living seeks a part-time Celebrations Coordinator, who will work approximately 16 hours weekly. This role is critical in enhancing the quality of life and overall wellbeing of the community's senior residents by coordinating meaningful and engaging activities. The Celebrations Coordinator will be a key player in planning and executing events that promote social interaction, intellectual stimulation, and emotional well-being among residents. A unique requirement for this role is the ability to comfortably drive a 12-passenger bus, facilitating transportation for residents to various activities and outings. Comprehensive training is provided to enable the Coordinator to confidently and efficiently handle this responsibility. The Celebrations Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the development and oversight of resident services, focusing primarily on activities that encourage health, engagement, and growth. This position requires creativity, organizational skills, and a passion for enriching the lives of seniors. Job duties include planning, scheduling, and conducting programs that encompass physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual opportunities. Coordination extends to managing holiday and special events, decorating, and ensuring the necessary equipment and supplies are available. The role also involves coordinating mixed group activities that include assisted living and Memory Care residents, facilitating regularly scheduled and specialized activities within the Memory Care program. In addition to event coordination, the Celebrations Coordinator supports community communication by preparing calendars of events, newsletters, and reports on resident participation and satisfaction. The position collaborates with volunteers and other staff members to maximize program success and ensure activities meet the diverse needs of residents.
