The role of Baker at Springmoor Life Care Retirement Community is a vital position within the dining services team, responsible for preparing and baking a diverse assortment of baked goods to delight residents and guests. This full-time position offers an hourly wage ranging from $17.00 to $20.00 and follows a day shift schedule from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, including rotating weekends. The Baker will be entrusted with creating breads, rolls, cookies, pies, cakes, and pastries in adherence to established recipes and quality standards. This role requires precision in measuring and mixing ingredients, careful monitoring of baking times and oven temperatures, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in compliance with food safety regulations. As a baker at Springmoor, you will contribute significantly to the enjoyment and satisfaction of the senior community by ensuring consistency in product quality and presentation. The role also involves managing baking inventory and supplies to guarantee uninterrupted production. Certification or formal culinary training is considered an advantage but not a strict requirement.
