Responsibilities include preparing and baking various pastries, rolls, and baked goods according to quality and presentation standards, maintaining culinary facilities and equipment, and managing inventory and supplies effectively. The role also requires assisting the Pastry Chef in producing new menu items, executing banquets, and creating display cakes and showpieces. • Must be 18 years of age
• Knowledge of applicable food preparation methods and measures for assigned function
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
• Good oral communication skills and ability to understand and follow direction
• College degree or Culinary Arts degree preferred or a range of three to four years of related experience and/or training
• or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
