Back Servers play a critical supportive role by assisting servers, hosts, and management with clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables promptly according to the seating plan. Maintaining cleanliness and service area stock levels at all times is essential, alongside polishing silverware and glassware to ensure a pristine dining environment. Effective communication within the team and with guests is necessary to maintain organization and anticipate guest needs. The Back Server must keep glasses filled, remove completed plates, replenish utensils, and conduct all duties with professionalism that reflects the restaurant’s high standards.
