The role of Back Server at Bottega Louie is integral to maintaining the elevated standards and smooth operations expected in this fine-dining setting. This full-time or part-time position offers an hourly wage range of $28.00 to $32.00, with additional tip pool participation based on California Labor Code and Fair Labor Standards Act regulations. Back Servers play a critical supportive role by assisting servers, hosts, and management with clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables promptly according to the seating plan. Maintaining cleanliness and service area stock levels at all times is essential, alongside polishing silverware and glassware to ensure a pristine dining environment. Effective communication within the team and with guests is necessary to maintain organization and anticipate guest needs. The Back Server must keep glasses filled, remove completed plates, replenish utensils, and conduct all duties with professionalism that reflects the restaurant’s high standards. The position requires individuals who can multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to completing assigned duties. • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years fine dining food and beverage back server experience
• Must be able to stand and move for extended periods
• Ability to lift 35 lbs
• Must be available to work full-time 40 hours per week
• Open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
