Currently, Flik Independent School Dining is seeking a full-time Prep Cook to join their team at Kamehameha Schools, Kapalama location in Honolulu, Hawaii. This position offers a fixed pay rate of $19.00 per hour, with a work schedule from Monday through Friday, 5:00 am to 1:30 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life routine. The Prep Cook role is vital in maintaining the high-quality standards that the company is known for by preparing food and serving customers in compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines. The successful candidate will be expected to support daily kitchen operations by following production schedules and recipes, ensuring food safety, and maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen environment. This Prep Cook position demands experience in heavy food preparation with strong knife skills and the ability to adhere to HACCP food safety guidelines. The Prep Cook will work closely under the supervision of the Chef to prepare items based on production sheets, complete necessary documentation, operate and clean equipment efficiently, and provide excellent customer service. Responsibilities include tasting completed meals to ensure quality, managing food storage and labeling, addressing customer concerns promptly, and maintaining adherence to sanitation and health standards.                 - One year of heavy prep experience with good knife skills
