The Aviation Project Manager role at BF&S is a full-time position based primarily in Indianapolis, IN, with potential opportunities in other regional offices including Cincinnati, OH; Columbus, OH; Hebron, KY; Louisville, KY; Lexington, KY; and Nashville, TN. This role focuses on managing a growing portfolio of aviation engineering projects and requires a combination of technical skills, leadership, and client relationship management. The position emphasizes airfield project management including planning, coordination, and delivery of airport engineering solutions. Critical responsibilities include negotiating project scopes, schedules, and budgets with clients, mentoring and coordinating teams of planners and engineers, and collaborating with other departments to ensure efficient project completion. Beyond project management, the role also demands active involvement in aviation business development, requiring strong client development skills and the ability to address multiple projects concurrently.   • Bachelor's of Science in Engineering from an accredited ABET university
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio or Tennessee
  • Working knowledge of AutoCad, Civil 3D, Microsoft Office and other design software
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet scheduled deadlines
